You cross over railroad tracks and arrive at a main junction, turn right for Celon and then again the first right as you enter the village. Stay to the right and we are towards the end of the lane on your left. From the exit you will notice our "Ducks" helping guide you to our door!

Le Canard au Parapluie Rouge (the duck with a red umbrella!) is a lovely period country home situated on three and half acres of grounds and gardens.
The original part of the property dates to the 17th century with additions to the main house during the 18th & 19th centuries. During Le Canard's hey day it was a small hotel named L’Hotel de la Gare and accommodated overnight passengers from the near by rail line. Through out the years Le Canard has provided a warm and inviting shelter for many a traveller. Sadly the station house has closed, however the occasional train whizzes by as a reminder of the early days at Le Canard!
Today, the property has been completely updated with all modern conveniences. You will find the style of Le Canard a delightful mix of eclectic furnishings from around the world creating a cosy & welcoming ambiance.
Our bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, each with an en-suite bath or shower and offer views of the garden. The warm and inviting decor is unique to each bedroom and there are plenty of pillows and snuggle up bedding! Clock radios, hair-dryer & bottled water are just some of the amenities we offer.
Le Canard B&B is surrounded by fantastic medieval villages, stunning countryside, rivers & lakes, fishing, hiking trails, antique & brocante shopping, chateaux and much more! You can fill every moment with these delightful options or you can fill every moment by relaxing, reading, snoozing and just enjoying the sounds of country life.
