We are located half way down in the center of France ,an ideal place to stop on route to the sun. Come off at junction 30 Belliville on the A6 autoroute South of Macon ,then take the D37 to Beaujeu you travel through the wine region of Beaujolais and on to Chauffailles,go through the town till you come to a sharp bend to the right and take the road in front of you ,which is signposted Chateauneuf, carry on for another 5 klm till you come to a off set T junction, turn left then you have to turn right and then left at the cross in the road ,go up the one way street till the road goes back to being 2 way and turn left and we are the second house on the right (Blue shutters )

From the A7 AUTOROUTE at St Germain-lespinesse North of Roanne take the D4 to Charlieu, then the D987 to Chateauneuf and we are the second house on the right as you come in to the village.

Le Bourg Chambre d’hôte, tastefully renovated Bed and Breakfast in Chateauneuf, in the heart of picturesque Southern Burgundy.

For anyone who loves exploring antique shops, the tiny village of Châteauneuf in the Brionnais should not be missed. In the handful of streets which make up the village, who knows what treasures are to be found?

We have recently transformed the old gendarmerie on the edge of the village into a four bedroomed chambres d’hôte. Upstairs there is a large family room sleeping four to five; a double bedded room with an extra single; and a twin bedded room. The double room downstairs has an adjoining room suitable for two children, making it ideal for families. All are light and spacious, each with new shower room en suite. The garden provides a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine, after a day out in the Burgundy countryside

The historical village of Chateauneuf is surrounding by breathtaking countryside, easy to find and only a short drive away from local shops and markets.

Le Bourg is an excellent stepping off point from which to explore this totally unspoilt region. What is more, we are on hand to help you make the most of your stay.

We are registered with Gites de France, and have been highly rated with 3 epis.
