'Puygrenier’ is a genuine old Wine property in the heart of Wine country. The property straddles the Bergerac and Bordeaux appellation and is surrounded by vineyards, tasting houses and wonderful countryside and our own 52 acres of meadow and woodland with our own lake (which we also fish and swim in). The property was purchased in 2005 and has undergone a transformation revealing the history of this 300 year old house. You can explore the nearby wonders of St. Emilion and Pomerol both within 20 minutes drive. We also have gites (self catering houses) to rent on a weekly basis.
There are 3 en suite double bedrooms all tastefully restored:
MERLOT
This room is over 30m2 to which lies an adjoining private ensuite bathroom with bath with shower attachment, sink and W.C. The room hosts a King size bed and further single. Ancient beams and stonework are exposed.
CABERNET
This large room has 2 single beds with a further pullout bed.. Adjoining private ensuite bathroom with larger size shower, sink and W.C. Exposed beams
